# Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains the information collected by [virtual_cats ("Virtual Cats")] (hereinafter referred to as "this app") from users and the purposes for which such information is used. Please read this policy carefully before using this app.

## 1. Information Collected

### 1.1 Information stored only on your device

This app records game play data (such as your cats' names, customization and care status, the placement of goods, room decoration, and settings like the display language) only on the device on which it is executed. This information is never transmitted over the Internet unless you explicitly use the device transfer feature described below.

- Purpose of use: App functionality (such as saving your cats' data)

### 1.2 Images created by the photo feature

Images created by this app's photo feature are captures of the in-app scene; the device camera is not used. A created image is saved on your device or shared to an app of your choice only when you perform the save/share operation. This app never uploads images to any external server.

### 1.3 Information sent by the optional device transfer (backup/restore) feature (disabled by default)

This app includes an optional feature that saves your play data to a backup server (https://hash-games-olive.vercel.app , hereinafter the "Backup Server") so that it can be restored on another device, for example when you switch phones. This feature works only when you link your Google account on the [Device Transfer] screen and run [Backup]. When you do so, the following information is sent to and stored on the Backup Server:

- An internal identifier of your Google account (an ID used to distinguish users; your real name and email address are not stored)
- The play data described in 1.1 above (stored in a compressed format)
- The app version and the date and time of the backup

- Purpose of use: Restoring your play data when transferring to another device
- Only one backup generation is kept per user; a new backup overwrites the previous one
- Your backup data is never made public or visible to third parties
- All communication is encrypted via HTTPS

## 2. Use of Data

The information collected will be used solely for the purposes stated above. We will not sell or disclose users' personal information to third parties. The Backup Server is hosted on Vercel and Neon (database), and the submitted data is stored on these platforms.

## 3. Data Management

This app implements appropriate security measures to ensure the safety of the collected data. Technical and organizational measures are taken to prevent data leakage, alteration, or loss. Data stored on your device can be removed completely by uninstalling the app. Data on the Backup Server is not deleted automatically when you unlink your Google account; if you would like it deleted, please contact us at the address below.

## 4. Users' Rights

You can unlink your Google account at any time from the app's [Device Transfer] screen. Users also have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of their personal information. To exercise these rights, please contact the app's support team.

## 5. Changes to the Privacy Policy

This app may revise this Privacy Policy as necessary. Any changes will be notified within the app or on the official website.
